~ WOMAN OF ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM ~

Each October the Franklin Business and Professional Women's Club honors a local Woman of Achievement. This is someone who lives or works in Franklin and who, through her career and personal life, has done much for the community and the status of working women. ~ VELMA SMITH DALPHOND SCHOLARSHIP ~

Franklin BPW organizes and markets a community calendar that tracks birthdays, anniversaries and organizational meetings. Calendar profits are used for community activities and help fund an annual scholarship awarded each June to a female student, age 25 or older, who is living or working in the Franklin BPW membership area. In recent years, we have awarded a scholarship of $500. See Application for deadline.
